I love the Haindl Tarot and its ancient feel. Because I work rune magick, I like that Hermann Haindl includes runes on each card from the Major Arcana. Haindl also includes an I Ching hexagram on the small cards from the Minor Arcana along with astrological and Hebrew glyphs on the Majors to add additional depth to each interpretation.

Today’s reading inspires a feeling of the Divine Feminine within as we embrace our fundamental power and infinite potential with the High Priestess, the Star, and The Fool.

A card of the Moon and Elemental Water, we see the High Priestess standing with her hands raised in supplication, a large sphere suspended before her. A camel gazes up at her while water flows in the stream below. Mist appears throughout the card suggesting emanations from Spirit into form. The High Priestess represents alignment and intuition, Goddess presence and inner wisdom. She is the initiator of dreams made manifest offering compassion and truth to all reinforced by the rune Uruz in the upper right-hand corner of the card. She is consciousness personified and transcends all with her station.

Moving onto The Star, which may be my favorite card in the deck, we again witness the Goddess in her ancient form as she almost seems to emerge from the rocks while washing her hair in a small pool…
