Rune Divination for 3 March 2021
Ehwaz, Thurisaz, and Ansuz comprise today’s rune divination.
Odin’s rune, Ansuz signals a divine message from Spirit while Ehwaz describes the intuitive or spiritual bond we share with others. Together they suggest the integration found in Spirit awareness, and with the additional effect of Thurisaz, Thor’s rune, we can control behavior that acts on the ego’s impulse. Aligning with both Ansuz and Ehwaz, we reject division and remain collectively consciousness of who we are to each other.
General Rune Interpretations
Ehwaz, as a Water element rune, indicates change and momentum. It also describes an intuitive bond with others, partnership, and binding all together in the collective consciousness of Source Presence. Ehwaz also represents our soul vehicle, or Merkaba, in the astral realm.
Thurisaz, Thor’s rune, expresses its fiery influence in defense and protection of self and others. It also describes and guards against opposition and impulsive behavior, giants, chaos and has been found useful in weather magick. Thurisaz breaks through barriers to faulty perception that seems to govern our worst impulses.
Ansuz, Odin’s rune and a rune of Elemental Air, describes Higher Self communication and the divine message of the Creator. It reflects eloquence, divinity, and clarity in its expression and seems to suggest that as we align in our own divine presence, our vibration rises to a level where ego cannot reach.
Runes are indeed a language of light and should be regarded as such. They should never be co-opted into an evil expression as they provide a means soul-alignment. Anything else, in my opinion, is nothing short of blasphemy.
